Thrust Areas of Research:
The Department is in the process of developing core competencies in research in the following areas:
- Inclusive Education
- Teacher Education
- Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in Education
- Educational Sociology
- Educational Psychology
Research Initiatives:
The dissertation work (based on primary data) of the students pursuing post-graduate studies and integrated M. Phil.-Ph.D. programme, broadly focusing on the above mentioned thrust areas of research, is an important ongoing feature of the research activities and initiatives of the Department.
