The students of group “PARWAAZ” namely Anubhav Sharma, Kainat Singh, Sahil Kumar, and Sumadha Jain of MBA (Supply Chain Management) Semester-I from the Department of Marketing and Supply Chain Management of Central University of Jammu, participated in the Sixth Edition of the Annual Management Fest Prabandhan-16 organized by IME (Industrial & Management Engineering Department), IIT Kanpur.

In the first round of the event, more than 100 teams from all over India participated in the online MCQ quiz competition. Top 30 teams were shortlisted for the next round. In the second round, the students submitted their real life case with innovative solutions for the problems under the title “Your Case Your Solutions.” For the final round, 10 teams were selected. The final round was conducted on 1st Oct 2016 at IIT Kanpur Campus, wherein students presented their case with solutions to the problems.

Prof Ashok Aima, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor applauded the students for their performance and encouraged them to participate in such type of events to have real life understanding of management concepts and thereby contribute successfully in the business world.

Dr Gaurav Sehgal, HoD Marketing and Supply Chain Management appreciated the performance and congratulated the students and faculty members for the success of these students. Dr Salil Seth guided the students to develop the case whereas Dr Naresh Sharma accompanied them during the visit.
