General Orientation Course for newly appointed Assistant Professors concluded at CUJ

General Orientation Programme for newly appointed teachers in Higher Education concluded at CUJ. Valedictory function of 16 Day Orientation course was held at TAB, CUJ. The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ashok Aima, Chief guest of the occasion congratulated the newly appointed Assistant Professor in Higher Education Department, J&K and encouraged them to work with complete dedication towards uplifting the education standard across the region. He stressed on the role of teachers as nation builders in the changing socioeconomic diaspora. Earlier welcoming the august gathering coordinator of the programme Dr. Shahid Mushtaq informed that this 16 Day orientation programme was conducted under the ages of DIQA, CUJ for 74 participants across various disciplines i.e. History, Psychology, Hindi, Punjabi, Arabic, Bio-chemistry and Statistics etc.
The programme was spread over 80 sessions where in the participants were oriented towards various issues of social significance, service conduct rules, financial codes, soft skills and research methodology. The highlight of this course included yoga sessions that were conducted every day during the programme. Participants expressed their satisfaction over the conduct of the programme.


At the end of the session Dr. Jaya Bhasin, Director DIQA read the report of the complete programme. She informed that in future more such programmes shall be organised for the faculty members. The programme ended with formal vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Pankaj Mehta. Dr. Neelika Arora coordinated the valedictory function.
