MBA (Tourism & Travel Management)
Department of Tourism and Travel Management (DTTM) offers a comprehensive two years MBA (Tourism &Travel Management) programme. The programme has been designed to provide a holistic approach towards addressing the problems of tourism business, society and environment. The aim of this programme is to develop student’s knowledge and skills in the tourism industry through a blend of strategic perspectives and pragmatic know-how. The two year MBA (Full-Time) in Tourism & Travel Management was launched in the year 2012. Its creatively designed curriculum is receiving overwhelming response from the tourism industry.
Summer Internship
MBA (TTM) students are required to undergo six to eight weeks summer internship after completion of second semester examination. The internship is basically meant to help student understand the organizational working and apply concepts learned during 1st and 2nd semester classroom teaching in the real business situations. The students are expected to participate in projects related to different areas of specialization preferably of their choice and validate class room learning.
On the Job Training
To meet industrial training needs, all MBA (Tourism & Travel Management) fourth semester students are required to complete a six month On the Job Training (OJT), in which they undertake industrial placements as part of their studies.
