The Department of Social Work, Central University of Jammu envisions to become the seat of higher education and research in Social Work. The Department through its two-year Masters Degree Programme in Social Work intends to impart knowledge and skills to develop competent Social Work professionals, who will, by adhering to the values and ethics of the Social Work profession and by serving in various settings of Social Work practice, endeavour for the establishment of a just and egalitarian society.
