Vision and Mission

The Department of National Security Studies aspire to emerge as a centre of excellence in the field of security and international studies in the country by promoting rigorous research and teaching. It intends to generate alternative and innovative national security discourse through inter-disciplinary approach and by providing platforms to various stakeholders (policymakers, armed forces, media, and civil society) to engage intellectually on issues concerning India’s security and foreign policy.
