On the occasion of 67th Republic Day, Prof. Ashok Aima, Vice Chancellor, Central University of Jammu unfurls the National flag at the Administrative Block at Baghala, Samba and Temporary Academic Block (TAB), Sainik Colony, Jammu. The Vice-Chancellor addressed the Academic fraternity, non-teaching member and students of the University. He wished them on this occasion focused on the accountability and responsibility of each individual which is much needed for the growth of the university. 

Prof.Ashok Aima said that let’s value the day it was created and work together for the peace, prosperity and harmony of our nation. He upheld the selfless valor of the forces in guarding the nation and asked the students to follow the footprints of those who laid down their lives for our today. Prof. Lokesh Verma, Academic Coordinator CUJ, Mr. Jit Singh, Registrar CUJ and other heads, faculty, staff were also present on this occasion.

The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of Central University of Jammu organized various events on this occasion and the center of attraction was the Republic Day parade by NSS volunteers followed by the various cultural events like folk dance, Patriotic & solo songs, Poetry and skits. The programme was coordinated by Dr. J.Jeganaathan and assisted by Dr. Pankaj Mehta, Dr. Bharti Gupta, Dr. Bachha Babu, Dr. Nanci Mengy, Dr. Parmod Kumar and Dr. Neeta, members of NSS Unit.
