The candidates (Rank 1 to 100) in the lists whose link is given at the top are invited for admission to the various P.G. Courses in order of merit for the session 2016-17 through counselling. 

The admission through counselling shall be held on 28th June, 2016 from 10.00 a.m. to 03.00p.m. for the candidates from Rank 1 to 100 in the Rank lists whose link is given above at Temporary Academic Block, Sainik Colony, Near Heritage School, Jammu as per schedule given below:

  • In case, the candidate fails to report in time, fails to submit required documents in time, fails to provide correct information, the admission of such candidates, if any, shall not be accepted and next candidate in order of merit shall be given consideration.
  • The candidate in employment shall submit a no objection certificate from the employer, if in service, that the leave due to the candidate has been sanctioned.
  • The candidate shall visit website i.e. www.cujammu.ac.in for updating themselves with all announcement made from time to time.
  • In case, the seats remain vacant on June 28, 2016 in any subject even after exhausting complete list, the process of admission for seats falling under Un- Reserved Category (open merit) shall continue on June 29th, 2016 at 10.00 a.m. The  lists to fill vacant seats shall be uploaded on June 28, 2016, if required.
  • The candidates should bring the following original documents (one set of photocopies) for verification.
  1. CUCET – 2016 Admit Card & Score Card.
  2. Date of Birth Certificate.
  3. 10+2 Certificate
  4. All Mark Sheets of Qualifying Degree Examination (B.A, B.Sc, B.Ed etc)
  5. Provisional Certificate
  6. Character Certificate
  7. Valid Category Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Kashmiri Migrant, wherever applicable) issued by competent authority as per prescribed norms of Government of India.
  8. Four passport size photographs.
  9. Any other document supporting the claim for admission
  • Fees to be paid by candidate in form of DD in favour of OSD Finance, Central University of Jammu payable at Jammu or by cash at the counter set up by HDFC bank at the site of Counselling. The fees for various courses is as follow:

  • Note: Admission of the candidate shall be subject to the verification of the requisite documents.
  • In case any candidate cannot come to the university to appear for the counselling session, he/ she may send his/ her  self attested scanned documents to the Email ids (given below) of the concerned departments one day in advance from the date of counseling and on confirmation from the university, should deposit the fees in the account which will be provided by the University after the verification of requisite documents.Admission to a course will be offered in order of merit only.
