The Hon’ble Chancellor, Central University of Jammu G. Parthasarathy on Friday Chaired 5th Court meeting of University, at Bagla Campus.

Chairing the meeting, the Hon’ble Chancellor approved decision taken by University’s 14th Executive Council meeting, held on 31th August, 2018. Prof Ashok Aima Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, CUJ presented annual report of University to the Hon’ble Chancellor. The meeting was attended by the Chancellor G Parthasarathy, Prof Ashok Aima, Vice Chancellor, Prof M K Dhar Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu, Dr Ashok Bhan, former DGP, J&K Police, Balwant Thakur, Prof Parvez Mushtaza Dean School of Engineering, Aligarh Muslim University, Registrar CUJ, Dr Ravi Kumar, all Deans and Heads of various departments and other Professors of the CUJ.

This was first of visit of Sh G. Parthasarathy after being appointed Chancellor of the University. The Chancellor addressed staff members including teaching and non teaching, while speaking he said that he would try his best to make the University of as centre of excellence. The Chancellor appreciated decisions taken by his predecessor and former Governor J&K, Sh. N N Vohra. The chancellor also appreciated Vice Chancellor, Prof Ashok Aima and appreciated his role of Vice Chancellor and hoped that he would take the University at new highest of in academic as well as in development of the whole campus.

Earlier, the Chancellor reached here on Thursday and delivered a Guest Lecture to officers of 26 Infantry Division on ‘Indo- Pak Relations’ at Tiger Auditorium, Headquarters 26 Infantry Division. Accompanied by Registrar and the Executive Engineer, the Chancellor drove around the University Campus and inspected ongoing construction works of the campus
