About Us:

Dr. Ambedkar Centre of Excellence (DACE) has been established at the Central University of Jammu under the umbrella of Dr. Ambedkar Foundation (DAF), Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India. The very purpose of the Dr. Ambedkar Centre of Excellence, CU Jammu (DACE-CUJ) is to coach 100 Schedule Caste Students free of cost by providing the state of the art coaching facilities for Civil Services Examinations conducted by Union Public Service Commission.

Vision:

To establish a Centre of Excellence for providing equal opportunity to support and empower Scheduled Caste students through quality education and coaching.

Mission:

To create a repository of resourceful opportunities for Civil Services aspirants to learn, compete and succeed in the Civil Services Examinations coducted by UPSC.

Scope:

DACE will provide specialized coaching to the Scheduled Caste students for the Civil Services Examination conducted by the UPSC.

Objectives:

To provide quality coaching and other facilities for the aspiring students coming from lesser privileged strata; desirous of appearing in civil services examination.
To help such budding civil service aspirants pursue their dreams and contribute to Nation Development
To assist the aspirants to frame an accurate and separate strategy and plan at every level of examination, i.e., preliminary, mains and interview.
To inculcate, along with knowledge; ethics and values of compassion, equality, nationhood, honesty and commitment.
To inculcate a culture of service to Nation and a strong ethos of “Nation First”.
