It gives me tremendous pleasure to lead the pioneering Department of Environmental Sciences. The department is unique in its diversity of all potential science disciplines. Technology-led growth is necessary, and research and extension must be part of the process. Our department is expanding its competence in the most recent specialized subject of Environmental Sciences. In this regard. India is rich in resources and our civilizations have always thrived in the middle of these resources. In our country, we have all assets essential for sustainable development. However, some occasional events may slow it down, but with a long-term aim and careful planning, it may be mitigated. We will not leave any stone unturned when it comes to progress. The Department of Environmental Sciences has always flown its flag proudly. We will experiment with new approaches and capitalize on synergies. We will look for fresh opportunities to work on. Our ultimate goal is to improve teaching and research for social benefit. We are convinced that the bonding between teachers, students, and staff in the Department of Environmental Sciences will serve as a model for academic fraternity.

Our department has an impressive track record in both research and teaching. Faculty members are well-respected and have outstanding academic backgrounds. Numerous major honors, both domestically and internationally, have been given to them. Numerous faculty members conduct national and international symposia and conferences, sit on the editorial boards of national and international journals, and regularly review articles for journals. A prominent faculty that combines academic excellence with practical expertise in the real world with devotion and commitment teaches the program. Our curriculum's main goals are to provide students with technical knowledge, foster their ability to solve problems, and encourage their creativity in using new technology. The department provides a vast array of elective courses so that students can choose from a variety of opportunities to further their interests. New scientific and technological advancements are introduced into the course material on a regular basis. With the goal of generating highly regarded graduates, the department offers a balanced curriculum that strikes a balance between theoretical underpinnings and real-world applications, technical expertise and supplementary courses. In an effort to maintain our leadership in terms of educational quality and content, we frequently evaluate our teaching strategies and attempt to include some of the best techniques and projects from across the world. Feedback is gathered from all stakeholders, including employers, students, faculty, and others, in order to measure our performance. It is then analyzed and used to improve our processes, which include curriculum content and design, delivery methodology, and evaluation procedures, in order to continuously keep them in line with the shifting demands of the market.

Our curriculum has been created with a balance between professional and soft skills in mind. We are certain that the existing curriculum has allowed aspiring managers to grow to the standards required by the business sector.
