The Community College started functioning in 2015 with an intention of imparting training in skill-based courses in emerging areas. The various programmes are offered in collaboration with industry training partners. The course curriculum is designed in consultation with National Skill Development Corporation of India and Sector Skill Council in line with the National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) which is a competency-based framework that organizes all qualifications according to a series of levels of knowledge, skills and aptitude.

It is my pleasure to introduce Community College as a constituent College of Central University of Jammu which started its journey from 2015 as one of the pioneer Centre for Vocational Education in Jammu and Kashmir. I feel very proud that Community College has worked hard and come a long way.
