Community College organized field visit of vocational learners of B.Voc Retail Management and B.Voc Banking and Financial Services Programmes to Jammu & Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI) , Bari Brahmana Regional Campus on 09-02-2023. It is endevour of Community College to organize such type of exposure/field visits to inculcate entrepreneurial spirit among learners and unleash the potential to tap available opportunities . During the visit learners visited Centre for Innovation, Incubation and Business Modelling (CIIBM) to learn how incubation centre facilitates the youth to become job creators rather than job seekers. The programme was conducted under the patronage of Prof. Sanjeev Jain, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, CUJ and supervision of Prof. Jaya Bhasin, Principal, CC. Dr. Shahid Mushtaq, Nodal Officer, B.Voc Programmes coordinated the visit. Mr. Ketan Bhat and Mr. Kohit Targotra facilitated the students in this endeavour.

A team of student from B.Voc (Tourism Management) 2nd Semester Semester student of Community College participated in 12th edition of the Great Indian Travel Bazaar held at Jaipur, Rajasthan from 23-25 April 2023. GITB is India’s leading business networking platform for Inbound Tourism and is organized by the Department of Tourism, Government of Rajasthan, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI). GITB receives participation from more than 280 foreign tour operators from all over the world and more than 290 Indian Exhibitors to showcase their products. Over the period of two days more than 11,000 pre-scheduled structured face to face business meetings took place between foreign buyers and Indian sellers. The platform provided budding tourism professionals to learn about the sector and available career opportunities. The participating team members included Mr. Charan Kumar and Satwik Prashanth
