Inspire fellowship

Department of Science and Technology (DST)

1. Scholar secured minimum 65% marks (or CGPA equivalent) in aggregate at M.Sc./M.S./ M.E./ MBBS.

2. 1st Rank Holder in each Post-Graduate (PG) level examinations in Basic/Applied Sciences including Engineering Sciences, Medical Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Agricultural sciences and Veterinary Sciences from any recognized University and academic Institutions in India.

3. 1st Rank Holders at the Graduate Level Examination in Medicine only conducted by a University/ Institution in India are also eligible to apply.

1. Should be an active scientist with a record of outstanding performance.

2. The scientist should be in service at the time of nomination to this fellowship.

Ramanujan Fellowship

1. This fellowship is open to brilliant Indian scientists and engineers working abroad and are below the age of 40 years.

2. Nominee should possess a higher degree or equivalent, such as Ph.D. in Science/ Engineering, Masters in Engineering or Technology/ MD in Medicine, etc. and have adequate professional experience.

National Post-Doctoral Fellowship

1. The applicant must have obtained Ph.D./M.D./M.S. degree from a recognized University. Those who have submitted their PhD/M.D/M.S thesis and are awaiting award of the degree are also eligible to apply.

2. The upper age limit for the fellowship is 35 years at the time of the submission of application.

SERB Overseas Postdoctoral Fellowship

Department of Science and Technology (DST)

1. This fellowship aims to build national capacity in frontier areas of Science and Engineering, which are of interest to India by providing postdoctoral fellowship for a period of one year.

2. The applicant should have completed PhD degree in science and engineering not earlier than the preceding two years from recognized institutions in India.

3. The applicant should himself/herself correspond with the proposed host institution abroad for their postdoctoral work.
